Getting Around
Flying
Edmonton only has one airport, located in Nisku, Alberta. Taking a cab or ride share from Nisku to Downtown would take about 30 minutes and cost between $30-65 (depending on availability, timing, etc.).
Driving
Getting to Edmonton by road in October is a medium-easy endeavour, depending on where you’re departing from.
If you’re one of our guests from Regina, Saskatchewan, you can expect an approximate 7-8 hour drive. The journey is a straight shot through open prairie.
If you’re one of our guests from Vancouver, British Columbia, you can anticipate a more mountainous drive that will take you 12-13 hours.
If you’re one of our guests from Winnipeg, Manitoba, your drive will be as flat and prairie-full as our Regina-drivers, but the journey will take you 11-14 hours.
Getting around
Edmonton is very much a city built for cars. The airport has many rental car opportunities, and other guest car-convoys can be organized when RSVPs are received.
Alternatively, the Edmonton Transit System exists in the form of street buses. Schedule links are available here.
There is also a Light Rail Transit available. It covers less ground than the ETS, but is useful for navigating Central Edmonton.
